latest may be ahead of these docsThe link resolves to latest, the most recent tag JitPack has built. If you
have selected an older version in the navbar dropdown, the Javadoc will not
match — edit latest in the URL to the version you are using.

Javadoc is exhaustive but tells you nothing about intent. These pages exist for the parts a signature cannot express.
